Turned out to be the battery driver. I didn't even think the battery needed a driver. Just a though. Yep those are pics of laptop innards. It is not charging with the AC Adapter, but it could be charged with a type-c. Same, ASUS replaced the motherboard and after 5 months same problem. Ah I know!
